Wild Rose Casino of Jefferson is operational! – Iowa

After a year of construction, the Wild Rose Casino & Resort of Jefferson in Greene County, Iowa, is operational except for small buildings outside the gaming room. The property has indeed opened its doors for fans of gambling of the region. 550 people came to visit the casino for this first day to discover the games as blackjack and slot machine before the official opening in early August. The license for the Wild Rose Casino of Jefferson was issued by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission in 2014 after the Greene County community endorsed the casino project in August 2013 following a referendum. The casino is estimated to generate 250 jobs in the region and an annual payroll of $ 7 million. The hotel will offer 536 slot machines and 14 gaming tables. To recap, the Wild Rose Casino & Resort will be the 22nd casino in the State of Iowa. 19 casinos are regulated by the State and 3 are tribal casinos.
